This picture was cliked on a evening in December on ECR, Chennai. I was on a ride on the way to mahabalipuram. When i reached almost half the distance, i decided to halt for a nice drink. The best drink i could get then was a tasty tender coconut. When i was sipping the tasty drink, this sight on the other side of the road was interesting. A tender coco shop in no man’s land. How about stealing them ?? But too heavy to carry them , drop the plan. Quite an interesting sight, a shop without a shopkeeper . Click!!!

Color the pots

This picture was clicked on ECR, Chennai. ECR soon became a favorite spot for me to click pictures. Saturday evening, and it was totally boring with absolutely no plans in mind. Hence started my bike and went on a ride on ECR with my Kittu mon. As i crossed shollinganalur, lots of pots kept for sale on the roadside caught my attention. I wanted to click them, but  was a bit lazy to stop the bike, remove the helmet, take my cam out and click it. What a lengthy process, hence  thought might click it next time. As i progressed further, more pots of vibrant colors were seen on the roadside. I just couldnt withstand any more from making Kittu taste these colors. Click !!!

Boatmen

This picture was clicked at Anwar gardens near ECR chennai. It was a misty morning in December 2010, when i woke up around 5:30 AM and rushed to the seashore to know how good the sunrise is to watch and capture in my camera. I was that crazy to click pictures using my new camera, as every click gave me more happiness and pumped lot of fresh blood inside me. I enjoyed that feeling. But the craze is all not enough, you got to use your brains. I had no idea that it is difficult to photograph sunrise during misty mornings.
Though Chennai is a very hot and humid place, i love being in this part of the world, especially during December and January. The misty mornings and chillness at night, which is thoug not too cold, but is a nice feeling. I started my bike from thoraipakkam and drove along the ECR, looking for a good opening into the sea shore. Then i saw the board ANWAR gardens, as i liked the name, i switched on the left indicator and drove all along to the sea shore. I reached there by 6:00 AM, when it was still a little dark. I sat on the seashore all alone waiting for the sun to rise, with my camera read and steady in my hand to go for the clicks. It was 6:45 AM, i still could not see the sunrise, but all i can see is mist , mist and mist. There was enough light all around, but still could not spot the sun. At around 7:00 AM, i could see the sun emerging out of the clouds, but well above the horizon. Sad that i could not capture the sun rising from the horizon close to the sea level, i was about to return to my bike parked near the shore. As i reached my bike, i just turned to have another look at the beach, and then i noticed this boat across the blue sea water interrupting the sun rays. What if i did not get a chance to click what i expected, let me try to click the best of what i have in front of my eyes. Click !!!
